Amazon + Katana integration
Link Amazon demand to Katana manufacturing so production, materials and stock respond to what actually sells.
Vendor Central · Vendor APIs / EDI
The data that moves between Amazon and Katana.
- Amazon orders as Katana sales orders
- FBA stock levels
- Finished-goods stock for merchant-fulfilled listings
- Shipment confirmations
What teams use it for.
For sellers
- Trigger manufacturing orders from Amazon demand
- Keep Amazon stock accurate as production completes
- Plan materials from sales velocity
For vendors
- Plan production against Vendor PO volumes
Official APIs on both sides, run like production software.
Authorised access
Login with Amazon authorisation and Katana's own auth. No shared passwords, no screen scraping.
Mapped to your setup
Fields, accounts, locations and rules mapped to how you use Katana, not a generic default.
Reliable by design
Queues, retries within Amazon's rate limits, and alerts when something needs a human.
Logged and auditable
Every record synced is logged, so you can trace any order, invoice or stock change.
Amazon + Katana questions.
Can FBA stock be planned in Katana?
Yes. We sync FBA inventory into Katana so replenishment and production planning include stock already at Amazon.
Do you use official Amazon APIs?
Yes. We build on the Selling Partner API and Vendor APIs (or EDI for Vendor Central where that is the agreed channel), using authorised access through Login with Amazon. We don't scrape Seller Central or Vendor Central.
Can this work for both Seller Central and Vendor Central?
Yes. Seller (3P) and Vendor (1P) accounts use different Amazon APIs, so we design each flow for the account types you actually run. Many clients run both.
How long does an integration take?
It depends on the number of flows, data volume and how much custom mapping your setup needs. After a short discovery call we give you a fixed scope and timeline.
Who hosts and maintains it?
Your choice. We can host it on AWS for you with monitoring and alerts, or deploy it into your own cloud account. Either way we offer ongoing maintenance as Amazon and the other system change their APIs.
