Amazon + PostgreSQL integration

Sync Amazon data into PostgreSQL for internal tools, apps and reporting.

01 — What syncs

The data that moves between Amazon and PostgreSQL.

AmazonPostgreSQL
  • Orders, listings, inventory and finance data
One-way flow

Data flows from Amazon into PostgreSQL. Nothing is written back to Amazon, so your listings and orders are never changed by this integration.

02 — Use cases

What teams use it for.

Seller Central (3P)

For sellers

  • Power internal tools with live Amazon data
  • Report directly from SQL
  • Keep a full Amazon order history
Vendor Central (1P)

For vendors

  • Store Vendor POs and sales data
03 — How we build it

Official APIs on both sides, run like production software.

Authorised access

Login with Amazon authorisation and PostgreSQL's own auth. No shared passwords, no screen scraping.

Mapped to your setup

Fields, accounts, locations and rules mapped to how you use PostgreSQL, not a generic default.

Reliable by design

Queues, retries within Amazon's rate limits, and alerts when something needs a human.

Logged and auditable

Every record synced is logged, so you can trace any order, invoice or stock change.

04 — FAQ

Amazon + PostgreSQL questions.

Is Postgres enough or do we need a warehouse?

For most small and mid-sized sellers Postgres is plenty. We recommend a warehouse once data volume or analytics needs grow.

Do you use official Amazon APIs?

Yes. We build on the Selling Partner API and Vendor APIs (or EDI for Vendor Central where that is the agreed channel), using authorised access through Login with Amazon. We don't scrape Seller Central or Vendor Central.

Can this work for both Seller Central and Vendor Central?

Yes. Seller (3P) and Vendor (1P) accounts use different Amazon APIs, so we design each flow for the account types you actually run. Many clients run both.

How long does an integration take?

It depends on the number of flows, data volume and how much custom mapping your setup needs. After a short discovery call we give you a fixed scope and timeline.

Who hosts and maintains it?

Your choice. We can host it on AWS for you with monitoring and alerts, or deploy it into your own cloud account. Either way we offer ongoing maintenance as Amazon and the other system change their APIs.
