Amazon + Exchange Rates Api integration

Connect Exchange Rates Api to Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central with a custom integration built on official Amazon APIs and tailored to how your team uses Exchange Rates Api.

01 — What syncs

The data that moves between Amazon and Exchange Rates Api.

AmazonExchange Rates Api
  • Settlement reports as summarised journal entries
  • Amazon fees, refunds and reimbursements by type
  • Vendor remittances and deductions
One-way flow

Data flows from Amazon into Exchange Rates Api. Nothing is written back to Amazon, so your listings and orders are never changed by this integration.

02 — Use cases

What teams use it for.

Seller Central (3P)

For sellers

  • Post each Amazon settlement to your ledger with fees split out
  • Match deposits to payouts so the bank reconciliation is clean
  • Track marketplace VAT/sales tax collected by Amazon separately
Vendor Central (1P)

For vendors

  • Reconcile Vendor Central remittances against invoices
  • Record co-op, shortage and chargeback deductions correctly
03 — How we build it

Official APIs on both sides, run like production software.

Authorised access

Login with Amazon authorisation and Exchange Rates Api's own auth. No shared passwords, no screen scraping.

Mapped to your setup

Fields, accounts, locations and rules mapped to how you use Exchange Rates Api, not a generic default.

Reliable by design

Queues, retries within Amazon's rate limits, and alerts when something needs a human.

Logged and auditable

Every record synced is logged, so you can trace any order, invoice or stock change.

04 — FAQ

Amazon + Exchange Rates Api questions.

Do you use official Amazon APIs?

Yes. We build on the Selling Partner API and Vendor APIs (or EDI for Vendor Central where that is the agreed channel), using authorised access through Login with Amazon. We don't scrape Seller Central or Vendor Central.

Can this work for both Seller Central and Vendor Central?

Yes. Seller (3P) and Vendor (1P) accounts use different Amazon APIs, so we design each flow for the account types you actually run. Many clients run both.

How long does an integration take?

It depends on the number of flows, data volume and how much custom mapping your setup needs. After a short discovery call we give you a fixed scope and timeline.

Who hosts and maintains it?

Your choice. We can host it on AWS for you with monitoring and alerts, or deploy it into your own cloud account. Either way we offer ongoing maintenance as Amazon and the other system change their APIs.
